grnvixenI enjoyed my improved mobility by puttering around in the herb garden (something I have not been able to do for at least 2 years), planting a couple of pots and just generally getting things done around the house. Oh yeah, and I made a fabric run to Cy's and did a thorough search of the button basket :). Shopping! Made it to the Y early sunday for my semi-regular swim and could tell I had been using some muscles in the legs that had not been used for awhile. Achey, but a good achey of muscles getting used.
Also had an adventure dyeing some silk scarves (more on these later this week). FYI: if a package of dye gives directions for tie-dyeing t-shirts and nothing else, the color on the package is only a hint of the *real* color the dye will produce. Who would have thunk that a nice green package color would produce FLOURESCENT LIME green! A package of Dylon dark green toned it down a little but these may still glow in the dark. Didn't even try the red I had bought but went with good ole Rit. Dumped it out on the back gravel driveway as the drain in the mudsink was running slow. It sill looks like CSI should have paid us a visit, even after the rain yesterday :) :) :).
