Productive weekend

It may have helped that the first thing I got done on saturday was taking the cat to the vet. After dealing with that, anything else was going to be gravy! Actually, catching him was easier than it usually was since I timed the appt for when he would have gone back to bed with DH and I could sneak up on him. Had him out from under the covers and into the cat carrier before he was really awake (the cat, not DH :) ). Of course he meowed the whole way to the vets, and put all 16+ pounds of himself at the complete back of the carrier so when you picked it up it tilts downward, and we have to literally pour him out at the vets, but was home by noon. Chronic sinus infection is improving but got a new med to try that already seems to be working so, hopefully, just one more appt. after this.

Did more sorting and cleaning, actually dusted and conditioned various wooden pieces of furniture on sunday. And the dining room is back! Got things organized and with DH doing most of the stairs got the mini-sewing room that had taken over the dining room back into the basement. Still a lot of reorganizing to do there but the dining room looks much bigger now for some reason! The table may become eBay central though as I sort and find things I can't quite bring myself to throw away, but could put up on eBay :). We got a DVD rack and a couple of CD ablums so Sunday was sorting through tapes, DVDs and CDs to try and make some more room.

Had a great time with friends on saturday night gaming. Didn't get a lot of blasting in since there was a lot of catching up to do but we have scheduled another game for next month so I think there will be more actual gaming then.

Appt w/ the Rehab doc on wednesday, working on a whole list of questions for him!
