Frustrated

In a rush right now prepping for Lilies (and another show I ended up designing costumes for) but this whole gay marriage ammendment thing really has me frustrated. WTF do our politicians think they are doing!! Oh yeah, being political, sigh. Supposedly most of the supporters don't think it will pass but are supporting it to look 'good' to their voters. I REALLY hope this blows up in their faces. And to blame the problems with marriage solely on gay marriage?!? WTF! Are they so blind they can't see, or just using this as an easy out?

And for those of us who have been content to sit these things out, I would remind you of the poem credited to Martin Niemoller (Wikipedia entry here). First gays, then non-christians, then blue eyes, when would it stop?
