The Strumpet is in the house!
May. 28th, 2008 10:58 amAfter a relatively quiet weekend (GP was down at OKRF), I went by to pick up Strumpet to start easing her back into the household. Oh man, did her world go topsy turvey! From being the center of feline attention in a one-cat house she is now tossed back into a world with two feline 'uncles', and some humans who are a bit more cat-savy than her last caretakers and not inclined to indulge her historionics.
Have I mentioned that she is about 90% vocals to 10% action?
Uncle Murf, as is per usual for him, is ignoring her unless they cross paths, then he hisses. Uncle Max is inclined to want to get up close and personal, doesn't seem to want to start a fight but hey, if she makes noises at him he will reciprocate. So far just a few swats back and forth. Today will be the first day they are all home alone but since there were no big fights last night, and she seems to be remembering where everything is, I'm hopefull for the condition of the house, and cats, when we both return home this evening.
One of the first places she seemed to remember was a favorite basket she would curl up in near a window in the library. Below is a pic from when she was with us before. I cleared out a little more space, in anticipation of her return and, sure enough, she was in there yesterday.

Busy week; the new roommate is just about moved in and will arrive for good on friday, in-laws are due for the annual Volleyball and hotdog carbonization event on saturday. Need to continure prep for LW too. Where did May go!!!
