This is a project that has been sitting in the back of my head for a couple of years now. I did a couple for some folks at faire (rougewench and sablesam) that were a lot of fun. Then I kept finding these great pairs of gloves at thrift stores, and there was this perfect scrap of brocade the went with it so well.....

dwimmerlake already snabbled one pair, the ones that probably had the most embellishments (as in real pearls and garnet beads). Long story short, put these up on eBay yesterday;

WANT! The only reason I hesitate is that gloves so very seldom fit me properly. I have very long fingers but small hands so that the between-the-fingers part usually hit at about my middle knuckle.

Yeah, trying to convey the correct size was one of the things I had to figure out, finally went with comparing it to mine.

And you could make these too :). It's amazing how nice some of the gloves were that I found in the thrift stores.
