The Sun, The Sun!

grnvixenAfter three days of cloudy cold weather, it is nice to see the sun again. That's not saying it still isn't COLD, but at least it's sunny :).
Got off work a little early friday, which was much appreciated as that gave me time to creep to the car (naturally parking services had just gotten started on clearing and/or salting the sidewalks, hello, weather forecast!) and warm it up enough to melt the ice that had accumulated. Dropped my boss off at her car and made it home with all the other folks driving very sanely. Put the car in the garage and it hasn't left since!
It has actually been kind of nice to have a long weekend with nothing in particular on the schedule and no have-to-have errands to tempt me out into the weather/roads. D made one short run on Sat. and Sun but I Cleaned!!! Finished the last of the christmas put-away, cleaned out a closet, cleaned several drawers, got the last of the research filing done and the reorganization started, started working on some designs for some runners for my sister, reserach for a class, cleaned more drawers and the tops of my dressers (sorry, no Jimmy Hoffa). I was going to try and tackle the sweat shop but it is just to cold to work in the basement right now so it will have to wait.
Back to work tomorrow.............
