A box of homemade buttertarts was special delivered to me last night as a thank you for some costume work. MMMM...Buttertarts! Enjoyed a couple with dinner, brought a few in to share at work, with a few more at home for tonight. And yes, I shared with Galactusprime :). They were great!

And the Ragdoll cats have found a home, they will be able to stay together.

Sorry - it really is a secret family recipe, and Miranda is family, so she is sworn to secrecy as well. But obviously she does do barter ; ) and I am home in KS every February and also can be bribed to make a few. And you have to be Canadian or have lived here...hehehe

The buttertarts were a complete surprise and greatly appreciated. I may have also been an excuse to make a batch, I think the rest of the family enjoyed the leftovers :).

And I would unstintingly recommend Motherpockets as a nice person but I think she will understand about secret family recipies. We will definately need to be sure she gets a few to try in February though. Very appreciative audience!

I absolutely do understand about secret family recipes! Don't have any secret ones in my family, but do understand about other people's! And, I'm not Canadian nor live there (tho' I am FREQUENTLY sorely tempted to, if only I could get BP, theslice, and kids to come with us! We do have a family tradition, however, that involves Canada. At age 8, I had my picture taken on the Canadian side of Niagra Falls holding a Canadian flag. At age 8, my daughter had her picture taken, same place, Canadian flag... And now Brie, my granddaughter, is six. We are already planning the trip! Then we do the history trail in Boston and the Cape. I'm looking forward to it! And buttertarts in February would be quite lovely!
