grnvixenStarting Day 3 with no stick! I have to admit, sometimes it has seemed a little weird to have this free hand, after so long having it occupied w/ the stick. Still a couple of wobbly moments but I am taking it slow. Still have to concentrate to walk 'normal', and I can feel the muscle that is getting worked, but it feels good too.
And another plus side to all this; I have a small bunch of violets and another of liliacs perfuming my desk this morning! We don't have a large garden but we do have several plants the bloom in the spring (violets, lilacs, peonies & Iris) that I like to bring in to brighten up the work place. Didn't manage to bring in any last spring, since I wasn't doing the stairs out the back, but not today! I could even bend over to pick the violets; they are very loooow to the ground and I am rather tall so that can be a stretch. The lilacs don't last long but they smell wonderful. Nice start to the day :)!
