Priorities

Ok, does anyone else wonder about this:

Hurricane Wilma is due to hit Florida on Sunday. There was an NFL game scheduled between the Dolphins and the Chiefs for that day so they decided to move it. But instead of switching to KC, or a neutral area, they move the game UP to this evening. And all the local news stations that are reporting on this seem to think the big issue is how well will the Chief's be able to play after traveling on game day.

Huh?

There is a hurricane coming! People are already evacuating from Florida!! Shouldn't the priorty be getting folks out and/or secured for the hurricane rather than a football game? Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate a good football game, but that would just not be my priority right now if I was in Florida.

ARF ARF!

A. R. F., at least in our house means, After Renaissance Festival. I think this anacronym got started one of the years I had a shop when spare time got so tight that there was not any left over to even say the whole phrase and ARF ARF became our standard response to things like "Your mother called....", "The cat needs.....", "there is this light on the dashboard.....". You get the picture :).
