Battery update

Thanks to Galactus' clever plan (taking a longer lunch hour), we were able to get my car jump started and he followed me to NTB to make sure it didn't die. Timed it perfectly at NTB and got right in, and out, in less than an hours. Whew. Started just fine this morning. I really didn't need the aggrivation yesterday but things are running smoother now.

Gingher Gloat

So not everyone on LJ will understand this but I had to share with those that will: I got an absolutely fabulous deal on some brand-new, still in the packages, Gingher scissors on eBay. I'd picked a couple up over the years with coupons but they can still be pricey. Now I have two pairs of pinks, two sizes of shears and several embroidery size pairs. I can keep pairs on the cutting board AND by the machine so no more running back and forth. Yipeee!

H8 as Hot Rock Star

There has been some buzz lately about the new Showtime series The Tudors. This was recently posted on YouTube about the actor playing H8; John Rhys Meyers. Oh my, I'm feeling old :).

Costume wise some historic costumers have been haveing a fun time helping educate one of the producers doing the background clips on Tudor costume. She has been very patient with us :).
