Fortinbras info
Dec. 30th, 2005 08:47 amAs Motherpockets reminded me, good place for plugging the show :).
Here is the website for OCTA (Olathe Community Theater):
http://www.olathetheatre.org
Fortinbras runs January 13, 14, 20, 21, 22*, 27 and 28, 2006 (*2 pm matinee).
Website gives a bit of the plot but IMHO, it is funner than this may make it seem.
OCTA has a small church that has been their home, and stage, for a couple of decades. It is a small stage but they really know how to make the most of it.
Familiar faces to LJ & KCRF folks would include my own DH, Princess Elizabeth (NOT Victoria, sorry!) and Josh S. Cliff L. is choreographing the fight scene and advising on some of the prat falls.
DH's tall boots from his year as Drake at KCRF will also be making an appearnce on Hamlet. Hey, I am costuming this, you think I'm going to pass up the opportunity to put at least a couple of guys in tights :)!!!
