Posting this mostly so I will have the information handy, but also for Rowangolightly and anyone else who may be interested:

This exhibit on Elizabeth I is coming to Kansas City! It will be at the West Wyandotte branch, check out their May schedule here for details (scroll down to May). The opening activities are on the weekend, which will be a bummer for those doing Muskogee, but the exhibit will be here until mid-June. I am so THERE!

Oh, thank you! Yes, bummer that I can't attend the opening weekend stuff but I *will* come up and see it!

BTW - I need to get ahold of Dean about the Company applying to do commedia at the White Hart Faire. They really want a Commedia company down there and I've not heard anything back from C. so I need to keep moving to get the job done.

Could you have him contact me, please? The gmail address is best.

Tnx.

Will do, altho I think CJ is on-the-road with a show, which is why you have probably not heard from him.

Yeah, I know...the Castle needs to hear from him pretty quickly as well.

Looking at that library schedule makes me wish I was up there more..they've got some great stuff! It'd be fun to offer to attend their opening as Elizabeth but I am SO booked through May!

*sigh* Once again for the needing of clones!

You'll probably hear from DH regarding this but I wanted to officially state: That the Lord Mayor's Company, even though we are very interested in performing at White Heart, are not a "commedia" troupe. Comedy certianly, but primaraily scripted shows, most with swordplay. I just didn't want anyone confused. We formed because KCRF wanted to see something scripted from the group, and those of us interested decided to form a new troupe. Find out more at www.thelordmayorscompany.com (shameless plug, I think grnvixen will forgive me ;) )

Yes, I know....and I appreciate the clarity. I've explained it as such to Di Taylor and I've sent her the site address.

So we'll just wait and see, I guess. I do think it would be a lovely piece of consistency having you guys there since Adrian is going to be the Lord Mayor.

I thought you might know, I wanted to be clear for all the readers out there. ;) Hi Readers!
That would be lovely, as he was the Lord Mayor when we chose our name, and was a wonderful patron.
