Long weekend

It feels like a monday, I guess that is what happens when you take monday off for a long weekend. Took the extra day as we had been invited to a wedding in Wichita on sunday evening. I'm to old to drive all the way back to KC late at night so we went down on sunday AM and got a hotel room for the night. Also meant we could imbib freely, which was a good thing as one of the options provided for toasting was homemade mead, hmmmmm. Mostly outdoor wedding and they had perfect weather. A little windy on the drive home on monday.

My muscles did protest at two long stretches in a car in less that 24 hours. It also probably didn't help that I had my first Tai Chi session on saturday, then got all the winter composted raked out of the herb garden. OW! Tai Chi went well though and I think there will be only a few of the froms I will not be able to do with the hip. Gotta love the group I was with, after the session everyone went to Annendores for tea and chocolate! I could like this bunch :).

Sounds nice- We spent the last several days cleaning up leaves- 13 truckloads so far- talk about sore! I'm loving your old renfest postings!

We have found that the teenage kids or our friends like to earn money in the fall so we've been paying them to rake the last couple of years :).

Glad you are enjoying them. Of course now that I've posted them, I'm remembering so much more, like your love affaire with the mirror in the shop :) :) :).
