Ow! Ow! Ow!

Lovely weekend, weather was pleasant enough I could enjoy my coffee on the deck both mornings. Saturday was the warmest but since sunday was already planned for family I was determined to get a start on replacing the soaker hose in my herb garden. Needed to do this last year but wasn't quite up to it. I mentally planned on doing at least half of the garden but it went easier than I had expected so I got the whole thing done. A lot more bending, stooping and moving around on all-fours than I had done in a long time but it was done and I felt pretty good. Until I tried to get out of bed the next morning. Ouch! Ya know that muscle that runs up the back of your thigh into your glut? OUCH! On both sides so I knew it had nothing to do with the new hip. Sitting in the car for the trip to LV on sunday didn't help but it was nice to be together with my sisters and my mother. Went by the in-laws on the way home for even more family and food.

Oh, and they ran the epic movie version of the Ten Commandmants on saturday night! Soooo much better, if a tad campy, than the recent tv-movie. Heston and Brenner, barechested and in skirts, trying to out posture each other. Made for an enjoyable evening despite the tornadic interruptions :).
