Yuk! I suppose since I was going to have to get both of these root canals it was a good thing to get them over and done with, and getting the crowns taken care of at the same time will be good, but two in a row is a drag. I am *very* happy I went to the pros for this second one though, apparently the nerve was inflamed and it took 5 shots of novacaine to numb it out completely. I then went home and slept for 3 hours! Still sore today, they gave me a script for pain med but OTCs are still taking care of it. If it is still this sore for another day I will be calling the office to check on it however.

Fortunately, the weekend prior to the appt. was GREAT! We couldn't have had better weather for the WW, great outdoor shopping on sat. AM, mellow time on the backdeck with the masseuse, chocolate, good company. Even the cat got worn out. Max finally seemed to realize that if he didn't bolt for the basement, there were lots and lots of feet and shoes that he could rub and rub on. I think he OD'd on kitty endorphins, he zonked out on the carpet sunday as soon as everyone left.

This weekend is the annual Kinsey Volleyball and hotdog carbonization get together at our place. Hope the weather holds!!

At least you get to schedule a root canal. It doens't just spring on you in the middle of the night.

The nagging need for a root canal was my body's way of telling me I need to take care of my teeth. Your late night visitations are a reminder to drink more water :) :) :).
