Gator in the moat

So our department moved to the new research building this spring. It had been open for a year but this summer they finally got the 'reflecting' pool at the entrance up and running, and holding water. Naturally someone set a rubby ducky free in the thing. It actually lasted several weeks, then disappeared. Not to long after, this showed up:




Yup, a floating alligator head :). It has been there for over a month now. This pic was taken with my cell phone so not the sharpest. Another rubber ducky joined it about a week ago, they seem to be very good friends :).
