Ahhh, Spring!
Mar. 24th, 2009 02:26 pmYeah, the weather has been up and down but for Kansas at this time of year, that is to be expected :). At least we haven't had any tornados yet!
Spring Cleaning continues: the library is now about 95% complete. I don't want to count it as finished as I know there will be additions to the shelves BUT, there is room for same! Closet still has room for some additions which I count as a big plus!! The dining room table remains an organizational tool but I have sorted some things through on it. I really want to tackle two of the spaces upstairs but also need to hit the basement. It is finally getting warm enough to be able to get some sewing done down there and I have at least three projects rapidly rising to the top of the to-do list. Again however, the top layer of detrus is going to need major work before I can really do anything worthwhile. Sigh. A couple of bags have already gone to the thrift store but a Garage Sale is planned in April!
Nagging cough still hanging around from the head cold at the beginning of the month. Kept me from the Y and swimming for about two weeks. Really didn't feel like it for the first week but for the second I figured no one wanted me coughing like that while I was in the pool, chlorine or no chlorine :). PT update behind cut Still pursuing some solutions to my hip pain (no, it's not the THR). It's looking as if there are actually multiple issues involved, nagging on their own but combined make for more of a problem. I've found a bulldog of a PT though who has been a big help and I think we are finally getting things sorted out.
I've finished the more immediate embroidery project that needed to get done (for a coptic tunic) and have a couple I *really* want to get started on but I know if I do, there goes the spring cleaning! So hard to stay away from needle and fiber or book and graph paper.....Must..Be..Strong!!!!
